South Shields is coastal terraces, Westoe-style semis and tight town-centre streets. Salt air, older rads and shared drains age differently here. Access in finished rooms is often awkward; neighbour leaks need quick isolation. Ocean Road out to Cleadon — clear quote, proper gas testing, fixes that hold through the next cold snap.

Including callouts near Westoe and Cleadon.

Regular work across South Shields, Westoe, Cleadon has given us solid local knowledge; residential properties and local housing are familiar territory.

Call us if…

For South Shields, call PK Plumbing now if any of these apply — we will triage on the phone and confirm attendance:

  • Water is running, flooding, or a leak is spreading
  • A toilet or drain is backing up, or you smell sewage
  • You have no heating or hot water and it cannot wait — especially with vulnerable people at home
  • Water is near electrics or coming through a ceiling
  • More than one fixture is blocked or overflowing

When you call, tell us…

This helps us send the right engineer with the right kit:

  • Your postcode and where the problem is (room, outside drain, boiler cupboard)
  • What you are seeing — overflow, leak location, boiler fault code, slow drain
  • Whether it is getting worse — spreading, more fixtures affected, stronger smell

What to expect on price

For plumbing in South Shields:

  • Call-out fee confirmed at booking — we will tell you upfront if an attendance charge applies for your job.
  • Fixed quote before we start work — once we have assessed the fault, we explain scope and price before non-trivial work begins.
  • No hidden extras — if the job changes on site, we agree it with you first.

Guide prices on comparison sites are not our quotes. We confirm costs with you before work starts. Read the guide.
