Drain repairs, excavation & patch lining in Mitford
Drain Repairs & Excavation in Mitford (including Hebron and Longhorsley): drain unblocking, jetting and CCTV surveys — Gas Safe where required, fixed quotes, PK Plumbing, 180+ reviews.
Properties around Mitford mix older and newer plumbing — pipe age rarely matches the house next door. In the local area we regularly handle boiler breakdowns, hidden leaks, blocked drains and heating that will not balance. Drain Repairs & Excavation here often means kitchen stacks, yard gullies or older clay — we match the method to the pipe, not a one-size rod pass. Including work toward Hebron and Longhorsley.
Patch and lining work needs clean pipe and honest access — we’ll say when a short dig is cheaper or safer than forcing a liner. Same straight talk in Mitford and Hebron, Longhorsley, and Longhirst.
Why choose us
Reinstatement matters as much as the pipe: we put paths and paving back in courses, not a rushed cold tarmac band.
When you need structural drain repair in Mitford
We keep digs as small as the defect allows and reinstate paths, paving or turf properly — not a trench that sits open for weeks. You get a written scope before we open ground, and testing on completion so you know the line runs.
Lining isn’t universal: sometimes a short dig is cheaper, safer or more honest. We’ll tell you which option matches your pipe material, depth and insurance expectations.
Common questions in Mitford
- Do you cover all of Mitford, not just the centre?
- Yes — we work across Mitford and surrounding neighbourhoods with the same standards. Your job is matched to a local engineer. We also cover Hebron and Longhorsley on the same basis.
- Can you attend same day for emergencies in Mitford?
- We prioritise genuine emergencies — major leaks, burst pipes, and total loss of heating or hot water. Call for an honest arrival window. We also cover Hebron and Longhorsley on the same basis.
- Do you use CCTV on blocked drains in Mitford?
- Yes — when a blockage keeps returning or the cause is not obvious, we camera the line so you get proof before major work. We also cover Hebron and Longhorsley.
- Can you jet drains in Mitford, not just rod them?
- We carry high-pressure jetting kit with the right nozzles for kitchen waste, soil pipes and yard lines — rods alone are not always enough. We also cover Hebron and Longhorsley.
- Are quotes clear before you start in Mitford?
- We give written scopes for planned work upfront. For diagnostic jobs we explain what is included before we start so you can decide — no vague "turn up and see" pricing. We also cover Hebron and Longhorsley on the same basis.
Typical work we see in Mitford
- Mitford: terraced and detached houses — we diagnose emergency repairs and routine maintenance on site, not from a generic script.
- Taps, toilets, radiators and emergency callouts where water loss needs fast isolation — honest quotes before we open floors or walls.
- Repeat routes through Mitford mean we recognise common fault patterns and bring sensible parts first visit.
Clearance first — repair when the pipe is damaged
This page is about excavation, patch repairs and lining after we know what’s wrong. If you’re fully blocked today, our blocked drain team in Mitford can restore flow as a separate emergency job — then we book repair with a proper scope.
Most repair quotes follow CCTV in Mitford so we’re not guessing underground. High-pressure drain jetting in Mitford clears soft blockages but doesn’t fix cracks or collapsed short lengths.

Expert drain repair & excavation in Mitford
If you’re backing up today, clearance can be phase one and repair phase two. Jetting restores flow on soft blockages; it doesn’t fix a crack or a dip — we separate those jobs so pricing stays clear.
