Drain repairs & excavation in Dalkeith

Properties around Dalkeith mix older and newer plumbing — pipe age rarely matches the house next door. In Edinburgh and the Lothians we regularly handle tenement stacks, macerator faults, and careful work around listed or shared fabric. Drain Repairs & Excavation here often means kitchen stacks, yard gullies or older clay — we match the method to the pipe, not a one-size rod pass. Including work toward Newtongrange and Bonnyrigg.

Emergency clearance still happens when sewage is backing up — but drain repairs & excavation callouts are quoted repair phases, not endless jetting on a broken pipe.

Why choose us

Fully insured drainage engineers; we explain dig vs patch vs liner in plain English before ground opens.

When you need structural drain repair in Dalkeith

We keep digs as small as the defect allows and reinstate paths, paving or turf properly — not a trench that sits open for weeks. You get a written scope before we open ground, and testing on completion so you know the line runs.

Lining isn’t universal: sometimes a short dig is cheaper, safer or more honest. We’ll tell you which option matches your pipe material, depth and insurance expectations.
