CCTV drain surveys — domestic & commercial in Leith
Need cctv drain surveys in Leith? PK Plumbing covers drain unblocking, jetting and CCTV surveys across Leith, Edinburgh and Newhaven with clear pricing and guaranteed workmanship.
Properties around Leith mix older and newer plumbing — pipe age rarely matches the house next door. In Edinburgh and the Lothians we regularly handle hidden leaks and insurance-ready documentation when water tracks through older floors. CCTV Drain Surveys here often means kitchen stacks, yard gullies or older clay — we match the method to the pipe, not a one-size rod pass. Including work toward Edinburgh and Newhaven.
Access chambers, tight gardens and shared manholes are normal here. Teams surveying Leith and Edinburgh, Newhaven, and Portobello learn which runs connect where, so reports describe the right length of pipe.
Our approach
Choosing us for cctv drain surveys in Leith means inspection-first: watchable footage, plain-English notes, and no pressure to bundle jetting you didn’t ask for.
When you need a CCTV drain survey in Leith
Most people book a camera survey for one of three reasons: you’re buying a property and want evidence before exchange; you’re dealing with insurers or neighbours and need proof of what’s in the ground; or you’ve had repeat problems and want to stop guessing.
If the camera reveals debris that blocks the view, we’ll explain whether a light clear is sensible before continuing — major clearances are quoted separately so the visit stays about reporting.
Common questions in Leith
- Can you attend same day for emergencies in Leith?
- We prioritise genuine emergencies — major leaks, burst pipes, and total loss of heating or hot water. Call for an honest arrival window. We also cover Edinburgh and Newhaven on the same basis.
- Are quotes clear before you start in Leith?
- We give written scopes for planned work upfront. For diagnostic jobs we explain what is included before we start so you can decide — no vague "turn up and see" pricing. We also cover Edinburgh and Newhaven on the same basis.
- Do you use CCTV on blocked drains in Leith?
- Yes — when a blockage keeps returning or the cause is not obvious, we camera the line so you get proof before major work. We also cover Edinburgh and Newhaven.
- Can you jet drains in Leith, not just rod them?
- We carry high-pressure jetting kit with the right nozzles for kitchen waste, soil pipes and yard lines — rods alone are not always enough. We also cover Edinburgh and Newhaven.
- Are your engineers Gas Safe registered for work in Leith?
- All gas boiler repair, installation and servicing is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers. We will show registration on request and leave paperwork where required. We also cover Edinburgh and Newhaven on the same basis.

This page is about camera inspection and reporting. If footage shows a blockage we can clear, our blocked drain team in Leith handles that as a separate quoted job — so you’re not sold jetting when you only booked a survey.
