Blocked drains, slow drains & drain unblocking in Ormesby
PK Plumbing — drain unblocking, jetting and CCTV surveys in Ormesby and Nunthorpe and Portrack. Local Gas Safe engineers, fixed quotes, fully insured.
If you’ve got a blocked drain in Ormesby, we offer fast same-day drain unblocking, high-pressure jetting, and CCTV drain surveys to fix the issue properly — whether it’s a slow kitchen waste, a toilet that won’t flush away, or a main line backing up into the lowest fixture. We cover Nunthorpe and Portrack on the same basis. In Ormesby, blocked drain callouts are competitive — we rely on repeat work and reviews: proper jetting kit, CCTV when it matters, and clear quotes — not a quick rod and vanish.
Shared drains, tight lanes and older clay pipe are everyday context here. Teams working Ormesby and Nunthorpe, Portrack, and Normanby on blocked drain services learn which manholes feed which runs, so we don’t clear the wrong lateral twice.
Our approach
For blocked drains and drain unblocking in Ormesby, choose a team that clears safely and runs CCTV when it matters — not one that jets blindly and disappears. We’re insured for drainage work and clean up after ourselves. In Ormesby especially, we know you’ve got choice — we focus on honest diagnostics on slow and blocked drains, tidy work, and CCTV when repeat blockages need proof.
Blocked drains & drain unblocking in Ormesby
We unblock drains across Ormesby with high-pressure jetting where it suits the pipe, plus CCTV drain surveys when the cause isn’t obvious or a blockage keeps returning. Same-day and next-day callouts are available for urgent problems, and we work on domestic and commercial properties — blocked sinks, toilets, gurgling stacks, manholes and main lines.
If you're not sure what's causing the blockage, we can run a CCTV survey down the line to identify the issue before we clear it. That way you get a lasting fix rather than a temporary clear. Fixed-price quotes upfront, with no hidden extras.
Common questions in Ormesby
- Do you cover all of Ormesby, not just the centre?
- Yes — we work across Ormesby and inner suburbs for blocked drains, slow drains and drain unblocking, with the same standards. Your job is matched to a local engineer where possible. We also work in nearby areas including Nunthorpe, Portrack, Normanby.
- Can you attend same day for a blocked drain?
- We aim for same-day attendance for urgent backups and loss of use of facilities — call us and we’ll give an honest arrival window. We also work in nearby areas including Nunthorpe, Portrack, Normanby.
- Do you use CCTV on drains in Ormesby?
- Yes — we camera lines when the cause isn’t obvious or a blockage keeps coming back, so you get a lasting fix rather than repeat clearing. We also work in nearby areas including Nunthorpe, Portrack, Normanby.
- What’s the difference between a slow drain and a full blockage?
- A slow drain usually means a partial restriction; a full blockage often backs up into the lowest fixture. We test first and choose rods, jetting or mechanical clearing to match the pipe — not a one-size-fits-all rod job. We also work in nearby areas including Nunthorpe, Portrack, Normanby.
Typical work we see in Ormesby
- Older clay and shared runs in Ormesby — we jet and rod properly, and use CCTV when repeat blockages suggest more than surface waste.
- Kitchen fatbergs and bathroom wipes — high-pressure jetting with the right nozzles, plus honest advice if the pipe needs repair or lining.
- Yard gullies and rainwater — we prove foul vs surface water before we price major work.
Blocked drain callouts
Fully blocked or slow draining? We clear kitchen lines, WCs and main runs with the right method — jetting, rods or mechanical — and we camera when it keeps coming back.
Drain unblocking
Slow bathroom wastes, gurgling stacks or a utility sink that won’t run off — we unblock properly and explain what caused it so you’re not stuck in a repeat cycle.
CCTV drain surveys
Buying, insuring or tired of repeat blockages? We camera the line and leave footage plus plain notes you can share — so you fix the cause, not just the symptom.
High-pressure drain jetting
Fatbergs, scale and soft root ingress often need proper jetting with the right nozzles — we match pressure to the pipe and clean up after, without wrecking fragile old clay.
