Blocked drains, slow drains & drain unblocking in Loftus
Gas Safe registered PK Plumbing handles blocked drain services across Loftus, Saltburn-by-the-Sea and Brotton and surrounding areas — 24/7 for genuine emergencies.
If you’ve got a blocked drain in Loftus, we offer fast same-day drain unblocking, high-pressure jetting, and CCTV drain surveys to fix the issue properly — whether it’s a slow kitchen waste, a toilet that won’t flush away, or a main line backing up into the lowest fixture. We cover Saltburn-by-the-Sea and Brotton on the same basis. Busy area: we win drain work by diagnosing properly, explaining costs upfront, and cleaning up after a clearance — that’s our edge in Loftus.
Pre-purchase surveys and insurance claims need footage and notes, not a verbal “looks fine”. Across Loftus and Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Brotton, and Marske-by-the-Sea, we deliver readable reports alongside the MP4.
What you can expect
CCTV drain surveys from us include watchable footage and notes you can forward — useful for purchases and insurance. Drain work in Loftus should be transparent, not a black hole in the invoice. For blocked drains and drainage in Loftus, you want engineers who answer the phone and stand behind the clearance. That’s what we deliver.
Main drains & manholes in Loftus
Blocked drain callouts in Loftus are routine for us. We clear properly, then camera the line if repeats suggest a dip, roots or a defect. Same-day and next-day slots are available for emergencies — sinks, WCs, yard gullies and main drains.
Where the cause isn't obvious, we'll run a CCTV survey to pinpoint the problem, then clear it properly. You get a fix that lasts, not a quick clear that fails again. We offer fixed-price quotes upfront and no nasty surprises.
Common questions in Loftus
- Do you cover all of Loftus, not just the centre?
- Yes — we work across Loftus and inner suburbs for blocked drains, slow drains and drain unblocking, with the same standards. Your job is matched to a local engineer where possible. We also work in nearby areas including Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Brotton, Marske-by-the-Sea.
- Can you attend same day for a blocked drain?
- We aim for same-day attendance for urgent backups and loss of use of facilities — call us and we’ll give an honest arrival window. We also work in nearby areas including Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Brotton, Marske-by-the-Sea.
- Do you use CCTV on drains in Loftus?
- Yes — we camera lines when the cause isn’t obvious or a blockage keeps coming back, so you get a lasting fix rather than repeat clearing. We also work in nearby areas including Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Brotton, Marske-by-the-Sea.
- What’s the difference between a slow drain and a full blockage?
- A slow drain usually means a partial restriction; a full blockage often backs up into the lowest fixture. We test first and choose rods, jetting or mechanical clearing to match the pipe — not a one-size-fits-all rod job. We also work in nearby areas including Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Brotton, Marske-by-the-Sea.
Typical work we see in Loftus
- Older clay and shared runs in Loftus — we jet and rod properly, and use CCTV when repeat blockages suggest more than surface waste.
- Kitchen fatbergs and bathroom wipes — high-pressure jetting with the right nozzles, plus honest advice if the pipe needs repair or lining.
- Yard gullies and rainwater — we prove foul vs surface water before we price major work.
Blocked drain callouts
Fully blocked or slow draining? We clear kitchen lines, WCs and main runs with the right method — jetting, rods or mechanical — and we camera when it keeps coming back.
Drain unblocking
Slow bathroom wastes, gurgling stacks or a utility sink that won’t run off — we unblock properly and explain what caused it so you’re not stuck in a repeat cycle.
CCTV drain surveys
Buying, insuring or tired of repeat blockages? We camera the line and leave footage plus plain notes you can share — so you fix the cause, not just the symptom.
High-pressure drain jetting
Fatbergs, scale and soft root ingress often need proper jetting with the right nozzles — we match pressure to the pipe and clean up after, without wrecking fragile old clay.
