Drain repairs, excavation & patch lining in Craiglockhart
Need drain repairs & excavation in Craiglockhart? PK Plumbing covers drain unblocking, jetting and CCTV surveys across Craiglockhart, Bonnington and Currie with clear pricing and guaranteed workmanship.
Working in Craiglockhart and nearby Bonnington and Currie, we see family homes and apartments and houses week in, week out. Mixed housing ages mean boiler sizing, drain method and access planning vary job by job. That local repetition helps on landlord repairs, certificates, and tidy work in finished rooms — we diagnose on site rather than guessing from a postcode. On drain repairs & excavation jobs we rod, jet or camera the line first — repeat blockages in Craiglockhart usually need proof, not another quick clear.
Excavation isn’t “dig until we find it” — we correlate CCTV, chamber checks and levels first. Teams in Craiglockhart and Bonnington, Currie, and Blackhall scope trenches to the defective length only.
Our approach
We’re chosen in Craiglockhart when clears aren’t sticking — cracked clay, displaced joints and short collapses need repair, not another jet ticket.
When you need structural drain repair in Craiglockhart
Jetting clears soft blockages — it doesn’t fix a crack, a dip or a collapsed short length. When CCTV shows structural damage, we quote repair separately: localised excavation, sectional replacement, patch repair or lining where the pipe and access suit it.
If you’re fully blocked today, we can clear for flow first — then book repair as a second phase with evidence, not guesswork.
Common questions in Craiglockhart
- Can you attend same day for emergencies in Craiglockhart?
- We prioritise genuine emergencies — major leaks, burst pipes, and total loss of heating or hot water. Call for an honest arrival window. We also cover Bonnington and Currie on the same basis.
- Are quotes clear before you start in Craiglockhart?
- We give written scopes for planned work upfront. For diagnostic jobs we explain what is included before we start so you can decide — no vague "turn up and see" pricing. We also cover Bonnington and Currie on the same basis.
- Do you use CCTV on blocked drains in Craiglockhart?
- Yes — when a blockage keeps returning or the cause is not obvious, we camera the line so you get proof before major work. We also cover Bonnington and Currie.
- Can you jet drains in Craiglockhart, not just rod them?
- We carry high-pressure jetting kit with the right nozzles for kitchen waste, soil pipes and yard lines — rods alone are not always enough. We also cover Bonnington and Currie.
- Are your engineers Gas Safe registered for work in Craiglockhart?
- All gas boiler repair, installation and servicing is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers. We will show registration on request and leave paperwork where required. We also cover Bonnington and Currie on the same basis.
