CCTV drain surveys — domestic & commercial in Morningside
Need cctv drain surveys in Morningside? PK Plumbing covers drain unblocking, jetting and CCTV surveys across Morningside, Bruntsfield and Merchiston with clear pricing and guaranteed workmanship.
Properties around Morningside mix older and newer plumbing — pipe age rarely matches the house next door. In Edinburgh and the Lothians we regularly handle tenement stacks, macerator faults, and careful work around listed or shared fabric. CCTV Drain Surveys here often means kitchen stacks, yard gullies or older clay — we match the method to the pipe, not a one-size rod pass. Including work toward Bruntsfield and Merchiston.
Where a light clear is needed before the camera can see, we explain before we do it; the visit stays about inspection first. Same approach in Morningside and Bruntsfield, Merchiston, and Marchmont.
Why choose us
Reviews and repeat bookings in Morningside reflect tidy site work and clear reporting — the same standards as the rest of PK Plumbing.
When you need a CCTV drain survey in Morningside
We run the camera from sensible access points, record the run, and summarise what we saw in plain English — plus watchable files you can forward. If we can’t see a section end-to-end, we say so rather than implying certainty.
After the report, any clearance or repair is your choice with costs upfront — we don’t bundle jetting into a survey you didn’t ask for.
Common questions in Morningside
- Can you attend same day for emergencies in Morningside?
- We prioritise genuine emergencies — major leaks, burst pipes, and total loss of heating or hot water. Call for an honest arrival window. We also cover Bruntsfield and Merchiston on the same basis.
- Are quotes clear before you start in Morningside?
- We give written scopes for planned work upfront. For diagnostic jobs we explain what is included before we start so you can decide — no vague "turn up and see" pricing. We also cover Bruntsfield and Merchiston on the same basis.
- Do you use CCTV on blocked drains in Morningside?
- Yes — when a blockage keeps returning or the cause is not obvious, we camera the line so you get proof before major work. We also cover Bruntsfield and Merchiston.
- Can you jet drains in Morningside, not just rod them?
- We carry high-pressure jetting kit with the right nozzles for kitchen waste, soil pipes and yard lines — rods alone are not always enough. We also cover Bruntsfield and Merchiston.
- Are your engineers Gas Safe registered for work in Morningside?
- All gas boiler repair, installation and servicing is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers. We will show registration on request and leave paperwork where required. We also cover Bruntsfield and Merchiston on the same basis.
